Route Romantique San’in stretches from Tottori Prefecture and Shimane Prefecture to Hagi City in Yamaguchi Prefecture. This region, which faces the Sea of Japan with the Chugoku Mountains in the background, possesses abundant nature and the oldest history in Japan.
