蓼科山聖光寺（しょうこうじ）は、は蓼科高原の標高1,200メートルに位置しており、八ヶ岳および蓼科山が間近に見える蓼科湖から徒歩2分の場所にあります。標高が高いため、桜の開花が遅く、例年ゴールデンウィーク近辺で300本のソメイヨシノが満開の時期を迎えます。近くの桜の名所が葉桜となっても、こちらではまだお花見を楽しむことができます。

Tateshina Shoko Temple is, is located at an altitude of 1,200 meters of Tateshina plateau, there from Lake Tateshinako that Mts.Yatsugatake and Mt.Tateshina appear to be close to the location of the 2-minute walk. For high altitude, slow flowering of the cherry blossoms, cherry 300 this tree in annual Golden Week( early May from the end of April in Japan)will celebrate the time of full bloom.
